HR Coordinator
Location : Houston, TX
Pay : $25 - $26 / hour

About the Job
The Human Resources Coordinator supports the daily operations of the HR department and plays a key role in delivering an excellent employee experience. This position assists with onboarding, new hire orientation, compliance documentation, employee engagement initiatives, and provides administrative and reporting support to ensure efficient HR processes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding, including preparing offer letters, collecting documentation, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Facilitate new hire orientation sessions to introduce company policies, benefits, and workplace culture.
- Manage pre-employment background checks and drug screening processes, ensuring timely completion and compliance.
- Maintain accurate employee records in both digital and physical formats while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company and legal requirements.
- Assist in planning and executing employee engagement and recognition events, such as holiday parties, wellness activities, and appreciation days.
- Generate and maintain HR reports, including headcount, turnover, and other metrics as needed.
- Support benefits administration, timekeeping, and payroll preparation as assigned.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling, correspondence, and maintaining HR files.
- Assist with policy implementation, employee communications, and special HR projects as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.Bilingual preferred.2+ years of experience in an HR support or coordinator role.Knowledge of HR processes, onboarding best practices, and employment law basics.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems a plus.Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
