Job Description We are seeking a Pediatric Radiologist for a locum tenens assignment in a prestigious children's hospital. Your expertise will be pivotal in conducting fluoroscopy studies and various radiology procedures. The role requires flexibility with a combination of weekdays and weekend on-call duties. Key Details Assignment Type : Locum Tenens Setting : Hospital Start Date : October 13, 2023 Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM, including night procedures and weekend procedure call Patient Population : Pediatric Location : Hershey, PA Stipends : Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits Weekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Job Responsibilities Perform fluoroscopy studies such as Barium Swallow, UGI, and VCUG. Execute procedures like air reduction enema for intussusception and management of feeding tubes. Administer contrast injections for central line / port malfunctions. Ensure quality patient care in accordance with hospital protocols. Qualifications Board Certification in Pediatric Radiology is required. Fellowship training in pediatric radiology is preferred. Ability to work in a Level I trauma pediatric facility. No IMLC acceptance; Pennsylvania state licensure is necessary. Working Hours Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM Night procedures and weekend procedure calls as scheduled. Clock in and out for lunch breaks (30 minutes). Skills Proficiency in pediatric radiology procedures and studies. Strong communication skills for patient and team interactions. Ability to work collaboratively in a high-impact environment.
