Role Definition
Installs, maintains and troubleshoots equipment at the customer's location using tools, parts and technical diagrams. Responsibilities include on-site preventive maintenance, inspection service, call-out services and commissioning of turbomachinery and packaged systems.
Responsibilities
- Use test equipment to diagnose and identify malfunctions, referencing schematics and manufacturer specifications.
- Use hand tools, gauges and instruments to repair or replace faulty parts, and utilize digital tools and systems.
- Check for common causes of trouble, such as dirty or defective components; clean and lubricate equipment as required.
- Perform routine installations and make adjustments to equipment within normal procedures.
Degree Requirement
Degree or equivalent experience desired.

Located in or willing to relocate to Ontario-Toronto Area.Technical qualification, license, certificate or completed apprenticeship, or equivalent experience.5+ years related work experience in power generation and / or gas compressors.5+ years related industry experience in mechanics, maintenance engineering or field engineering.High school diploma, GED or equivalent.Willingness to travel 75-100% of the time within Canada and USA.Capable of cross-disciplinary work.Legal work authorization in Canada and the United States.Clean driving record (no moving violations within the last 12 months, no DUI in last 7 years).Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with rotating equipment.Experience in mechanical or instrumentation / electrical roles.Knowledge of gas turbine theory, control logic and downstream processes.Proficiency with MS Office suite.Programming and basic troubleshooting on PLC systems.Experience in overseas / offshore environments; familiarity with PLC systems.Additional Information
