Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Middlebury, VT 05753 (Vermont healthcare jobs) Facility : Porter Birthing Center Position Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty : Labor & Delivery (L&D), Post-Partum, Newborn Care Shift : 12 Hour Nights Hours per Week : 36 Assignment Length : 4 weeks (Start : 9 / 15 / 2025, End : 10 / 13 / 2025) Schedule : Rotating Monday to Sunday; every other weekend required Estimated Weekly Salary : $2520 - $2700 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Vermont or compact state; must be on file at submission) Minimum 1 year of recent LDRP experience (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Post-Partum, and Newborn Care) Current AHA BLS and NRP certifications required Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (mandatory) Prior travel nursing experience preferred Ability to float to med-surg and emergency department (ED) units as needed Reliable transportation required (public transportation not available in this area) Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor, delivery, post-partum, and newborn care settings Monitor and assess mothers and newborns, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the birthing process Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide high-quality clinical support Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR Float to medical-surgical and emergency department units as required Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations Experience the best of Vermont nursing while working in a dynamic healthcare setting.
