We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Residential Construction Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping successful residential projects by preparing precise and competitive cost estimates. If you have a strong grasp of construction methods, materials, and labor costs we'd love you hear from you!
Job Description
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Prepare material take-offs, labor estimates and subcontractor / vendor pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers and subcontractors to clarify scope and resolve discrepancies.
- Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Develop and maintain cost databases, unit pricing and budgets to management and clients.
- Track project costs and provide timely updates during bidding and construction phases.
- Stay current with industry trends, building codes, and best practices.
