Lead Mammographer / Mammography Technologist / Mammography Tech

Location : Dallas, TX

We are seeking a skilled Lead Mammographer / Mammography Technologist / Mammography Tech to join our team in Dallas, TX . This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a mammography department and provide high-quality imaging services to support the detection and diagnosis of breast cancer.

Job Responsibilities :

Perform mammography exams, including routine, diagnostic, and screening procedures.

Ensure high-quality images are obtained for interpretation by radiologists.

Oversee the daily operation of the mammography department, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to other mammography technologists, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality patient care.

Review images for accuracy, ensuring they meet diagnostic criteria.

Assist patients in preparing for their mammograms, explaining the process to help reduce anxiety.

Maintain and troubleshoot mammography equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.

Stay current with advancements in mammography techniques and technology.

Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications :

Certification as a Mammography Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) required.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.

Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.

Previous experience in mammography required; leadership experience is a plus.

Strong knowledge of mammography procedures and safety protocols.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with patients in a compassionate manner.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
