Duties :
- Assist in managing daily front-of-house operations to ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
- Hire, supervise, and train front-of-house staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Oversee shift management, ensuring adequate staffing levels and efficient workflow during peak hours.
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including beer, liquor, and wine selections, to provide informed recommendations to guests.
- Implement budgeting strategies to optimize operational efficiency while maintaining quality service standards.
- Utilize Toast POS and other restaurant management systems for order processing and inventory management.
- Accurately calculate the cost of goods for beer, liquor, and wine.
- Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally, enhancing overall guest experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Skills :
- Strong background in hospitality management with proven experience in restaurant or bar environments.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Proficient in shift management, demonstrating leadership qualities to motivate and guide team members.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial oversight within a restaurant setting.
- Experience using Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
