  • The Assistant Front of House Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front-of-house area within our establishment. This position requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has a keen understanding of hospitality management. The Assistant Front of House Manager will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain a welcoming environment for guests. Must be comfortable working up to 50 hours a week and be available to work on weekends.

    We are a Scratch Kitchen serving Comfort Food, and we are looking for an experienced line cook with breakfast experience and the ability to cook from a recipe. We operate in a fast-paced, order-driven kitchen.

    Duties :

    • Assist in managing daily front-of-house operations to ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
    • Hire, supervise, and train front-of-house staff, fostering a positive team environment.
    • Oversee shift management, ensuring adequate staffing levels and efficient workflow during peak hours.
    • Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including beer, liquor, and wine selections, to provide informed recommendations to guests.
    • Implement budgeting strategies to optimize operational efficiency while maintaining quality service standards.
    • Utilize Toast POS and other restaurant management systems for order processing and inventory management.
    • Accurately calculate the cost of goods for beer, liquor, and wine.
    • Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally, enhancing overall guest experience.
    • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
    • Skills :

    • Strong background in hospitality management with proven experience in restaurant or bar environments.
    • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
    • Proficient in shift management, demonstrating leadership qualities to motivate and guide team members.
    • Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial oversight within a restaurant setting.
    • Experience using Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable.
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when necessary.
