Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Springfield, IL 62769 – Explore Illinois’ capital city, known for its historic sites, lively downtown, and scenic parks.

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : December 15, 2025

End Date : March 15, 2026

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (NOC); every other weekend required

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2200 - $2360

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Illinois RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)

At least 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, CVICU, or critical care nursing

Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including every other weekend

Strong clinical assessment, patient monitoring, and critical thinking skills

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from cardiac surgeries, open-heart procedures, and critical illnesses

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and progress

Administer medications, cardiac treatments, and interventions as prescribed

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

Educate patients and families on cardiac post-operative care, recovery, and discharge instructions

Maintain a safe, supportive, and patient-centered environment for optimal recovery
