This medical center is a Level 2 trauma facility providing comprehensive surgical services to the community. The facility offers a supportive professional environment with a focus on quality patient care and collaborative practice opportunities.

Opportunity :

Board Eligible / Certified - General Surgery

Job Details :

• Weekend call coverage (1-2 weekends per month, Friday through Sunday)
• Strictly beeper call position
• Typical patient encounters : 7-10 per shift
• Must have an active Texas medical license (IMLC license not accepted)
• ATLS certification required
• Board eligible candidates must be within 5 years of residency completion
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
• Must be able to pass privileging process (thorough screening required)
• Position begins December 15, 2025 with ongoing needs

Compensation :

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
