We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dining Room Supervisor to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our dining area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a commitment to providing a fantastic dining experience for our guests. As a Dining Room Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and optimizing dining room efficiency.

  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Supervision and Leadership :
  • Train, supervise, and motivate dining room staff to deliver exceptional service. Schedule staff assignments and manage workflow to ensure efficiency.
  • Customer Service :
  • Greet guests, manage reservations, and address customer inquiries and concerns to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Operational Management :
  • Monitor daily dining room operations, including cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards. Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Quality Control :
  • Ensure that food and beverage presentation meets company standards and that all service protocols are followed.
  • Collaboration :
  • Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery, communicate guest preferences, and implement new menu items as necessary.
  • Event Coordination :
  • Assist in planning and executing special events and private parties, collaborating with management to enhance guest experiences.
  • Reporting :
  • Prepare reports on dining room operations, including guest feedback, staff performance, and any operational challenges to present to management.
  • Qualifications :
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or restaurant management is a plus.
  • Minimum [2-3] years of experience in a restaurant or dining environment, with a focus on supervisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, health and safety regulations, and customer service best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and lead a diverse team.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Proficient in point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications; familiarity with reservation systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
