The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing all material flow activities - ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance within our ERP and supply chain processes. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on daily operations and long-term performance goals.
Responsibilities :
Maintain the ERP system for all material functional areas, including Item Master, BOM, ship-to locations, and inventory parameters.
Create and manage daily production schedules, ensuring production output is recorded and posted accurately in the ERP system.
Communicate "No Surprise" forms to customers when supply shortages occur.
Review daily MRP supply reports and take appropriate corrective action as needed.
Identify and correct customer cumulative and supplier inaccuracies.
Track component inventory inaccuracies, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory variances.
Track and report premium freight events and downtime caused by suppliers.
Create debit memos for cost recovery and communicate DMRs to assigned suppliers.
Obtain disposition for quality hold materials.
Track supplier communication status for engineering changes proposed by program management.
Report daily on all key materials performance metrics, including inventory valuation, cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and past due parts.
Achieve assigned inventory valuation and turn targets.
Actively participate in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) investigations and 8D problem-solving processes.
Report accidents, occupational illnesses, or HSE emergencies and communicate unsafe conditions promptly.
Ensure compliance with all safety and BOS / MMSA procedures within assigned production areas.
Qualifications :
3-5 years of related experience in materials, supply chain, or production planning.
Strong ERP / MRP system knowledge and data accuracy orientation.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Automotive background highly desirable.
Strong proficiency in Excel
Experience and comfort working in Just-In-Time (JIT) environments.
Associate's degree in a related field (preferred).
