Our client, a reputable Design-Build General Contractor and Construction Management firm based in Indianapolis, has been a cornerstone of the construction industry for over 60 years. Specializing in education and municipal construction projects, they are renowned for their collaborative work environment and strong, long-standing relationships with local municipalities and clients. They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team, overseeing education and municipal projects, and mentoring a talented group of Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Managers.

Responsibilities include understanding all project specifications, ensuring compliance with contract documents and quality specifications, managing labor costs, enforcing safety standards, and developing relationships with key stakeholders. The role also involves creating a culture that values safety, health, and cleanliness.

The successful applicant will have an associate degree in Construction Management or a similar field, or a journeyman status in a building trade, or a combination of high school diploma with relevant experience and related certifications. Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry on complex projects, minimum 3 years of direct supervisory experience, and knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques are required. Proficiency with spreadsheets, email, and other software used in the construction industry is also necessary.
