Regulatory Specialist | On-Site Overview Reporting to the Regulatory Manager, the Regulatory Specialist delivers administrative and regulatory support across the department.
You’ll prepare and submit filings, maintain critical records, coordinate meetings, and partner with Billing and Accounting to keep documentation accurate and compliant.
What you’ll do Prepare, submit, and track monthly / quarterly / annual filings to state and federal agencies (e.g., FCC, NECA, USAC).
Maintain organized filing systems for agreements, property records, bankruptcies, audits, loans, grants, and company vehicles.
Review customer deposits and billing documentation for handoff to Accounting.
Support Billing / Accounting by reviewing invoices and ensuring documentation is accurate in all systems.
Process easement and encroachment requests, collect fees, and keep related records current.
Liaise with state and federal regulators to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Prepare and track regulatory fee payments (monthly / quarterly / annual).
Monitor customer trends (growth, churn) and set up new products in billing systems to ensure accurate billing.
What you’ll bring 5+ years in an administrative support role (regulated industry preferred) or equivalent mix of education / experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with managers and colleagues at all levels.
Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and on-time execution.
Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
