What Youll Do

As a Quality Control Manager (QCM), youll lead the planning, execution, and oversight of project-specific quality control programs from preconstruction to final completion. Youll play a critical role in upholding quality standards across all scopes of workespecially on federal, infrastructure, and complex commercial projects. Youll also mentor project teams, collaborate with owners and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with all contract requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Execute and oversee project-specific QC programs across all divisions of work
  • Lead the development of Quality Control Plans, including DFOWs, inspection checklists, and testing protocols
  • Conduct inspections and monitor compliance with project specs and contract documents
  • Manage documentation : RFIs, submittals, procurement logs, and daily reports
  • Review and verify that materials and workmanship meet quality standards
  • Oversee QA / QC activities of subcontractors and third-party inspectors
  • Host and document preparatory meetings and quality-related sessions
  • Address and resolve deficiencies, non-conformances, and inspection findings
  • Actively support safety efforts through site audits, orientations, and investigations
  • Occasionally support field roles such as Superintendent or Project Manager as needed

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred, not required)
  • Requiring minimum 8+ years of construction experience
  • Requiring minimum 2+ years of experience as a QCM
  • Prefer federal or complex infrastructure experience with scope (>
  • $20M)

  • Strong computer skills : Microsoft Office, Procore, mobile inspection software
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs, walk / stand / climb job sites, and commute within 60 miles

    Physical Demands

    This job may be performed in the office or on the jobsite and requires sitting (often working on a computer), frequent walking on uneven surfaces, standing, bending, and reaching. Heavy lifting may be needed; the employee should be able to lift items up to 40lbs. Due to computer usage, there may be repetitive motions of the hands and wrists. He / she must be able to navigate the jobsite and is expected to be able to comply with all safety regulations in the office and on the jobsite.

    Compensation

    Salary Range : $105,000 $155,000

    We aim to place new hires around the 40th percentile based on experience and growth potential, ensuring a thoughtful and transparent compensation experience.
