Walk-In Interview Event :

Where : Beatrice State Developmental Center (BSDC)

When : Friday, October 17

Time : 12 : 00 PM 5 : 00 PM No appointment necessary!

What You'll Do :

  • Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Assist with daily living, skill-building, and personal care
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment
  • Work as part of a compassionate, collaborative team

What You Need :

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift / push / pull 50 lbs regularly
  • This position requires proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the language effectively.
  • Important Notes :

  • On-Call positions are temporary and do not include state benefits.

  • Wages : Developmental Technician I (Part Time / On-Call) - $15.769 / hour

    Now Offering Flexible Training Options! Our standard training schedule is MondayFriday, 8 : 00 AM4 : 30 PM, but we understand that flexibility matters. We're now offering adjusted training options to better accommodate your availability!

    Requirements / Qualifications :

  • Minimum Qualifications : Must be at least 18 years of age, and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Positions classified to this class may be exposed to infectious waste, diseases and blood and airborne pathogens such as TB, HIV and Hepatitis.
  • Incumbents are required to have the ability to lift, bend, push and / or pull 50 pounds on a continuous basis to assist clients in meeting their needs and maintaining safety within the home.
