JOB TITLE : Behavioral Health Triage Nurse (CMA or LPN Strongly Preferred)

STATUS : Regular Full-Time

The Behavioral Health Triage Nurse will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that provides services to Alivation Healths patient population. This multidisciplinary team will perform services in Patient Visits, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, Ketamine, Research, Injection Clinic, and other services under the supervision and direction of a Provider. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities and requires a highly professional demeanor, rapport-building communication skills, comfort with operation of medical devices, and the ability to efficiently handle the workflow.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Handles confidential information requiring professional discretion and compliance with protected health information, data integrity and security policies.
  • Provides oversight and assists in determining the needs of the patient.
  • Follows patients care to ensure compliance with treatment plan.
  • Administers and documents medication under physicians order.
  • Acts as a liaison between the medical provider and the patient for refill requests and other patient needs.
  • Supervises the process of prescription prior authorization.
  • Coordinates with providers or clinical staff to resolve issues regarding prior authorization, referrals or clarification on orders or refill requests.
  • Validate that all orders for services are complete (with appropriate medically necessary diagnosis, treatment plans, and authorizations).
  • Provides medication education to patients regarding medication effects and side effects.
  • Ensures all related reports, labs, and documentation are filed and available.
  • Performs selected nursing and administrative duties and assists the physician as part of the clinical care team.
  • Other administrative office duties include, but are not limited to, scheduling appointments, scanning medical information to Electronic Chart, keeps office neat and clean, and ensures that supplies are maintained.

  • QUALIFICATIONS : High School Diploma | Must Posses Sufficient Medical Education / Training To Qualify For & Maintain State of Nebraska Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Medication Aid Certification | Phlebotomy & Injections Skills A Plus | Medical Terminology | Familiar with EMR Systems | Proficient Verbal & Written Communication Skills

    EXPERIENCE : Direct patient care in a high-volume clinic setting preferred
