Summary :

The Certified Instrument Processing Technician is responsible for decontaminating, sterilizing, and preparing reusable medical devices in accordance with manufacturer IFUs, AAMI guidelines, and hospital policies. Duties include performing quality assurance and maintenance checks on processing equipment, maintaining accurate logs and inventory, and ensuring compliance with infection control and safety standards. The technician supports department operations by monitoring expiration dates, managing supplies, and assisting colleagues as a knowledgeable team member.

Requirements :

Proficiency in steam and low-temp sterilization, decontamination, HLD, and equipment testing.
