Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with recent Level 1 or 2 trauma experience and Epic charting proficiency.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is based in the Operating Room at a hospital setting
  • Required to float between inpatient and outpatient ORs
  • General, orthopedic, and neuro surgical cases are performed
  • Works three 10-hour day shifts from 6 : 45am to 5 : 15pm
  • Weekend shifts required up to two times per month
  • On-call required for two shifts in each six-week period, covering both weekday nights and weekends
  • Epic charting system experience is required
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Limited requested time off is permitted, with no more than 5 days over a 13-week contract
  • Modules are completed online prior to starting and are required for onboarding
  • A negative drug screen, including for THC / marijuana, is required prior to assignment
  • The work environment requires flexibility with floating and on-call coverage
  • Parking is available at a monthly cost

  • Active CO or compact RN license required
  • Current AHA certifications in BLS and ACLS are required
  • Minimum of 3 years OR nursing experience
  • At least 2 years of recent Level 1 or 2 trauma experience required
  • Proficiency in general surgery, orthopedic, and neuro surgical procedures is required
  • Experience using Epic EMR is required
  • Willingness and ability to float to various OR settings as needed
