Consulting Physician

Job Description

Seeking a Physician to conduct medical evaluations for client eligibility and provide medical consultation to social workers and staff.

Work 32 hours / week in a hybrid schedule from San Mateo, San Francisco, or San Rafael, CA, with travel within these counties and statewide as needed.

Responsibilities include assessing individuals, determining diagnoses, coordinating tests, reviewing medical histories, and serving as a lead in interdisciplinary teams. The role involves collaborating with families, providers, and community organizations, as well as training staff and representing the organization externally.

Requirements include a Medical Degree, CA medical license, and certification or eligibility in a specialty. Preferred experience in developmental disabilities, knowledge of relevant regulations, and multilingual or multicultural skills are a plus.
