About Us Southwest Electric Co. a division of SGB USA Inc. has provided electrical equipment and services to energy, utility, and industrial clients for over 75 years. We specialize in custom-engineered solutions, transformer services, and switchgear manufacturing.
Field Service Technician Summary : Will assist with substation repairs, testing and or oil processing.
Field Service Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Basic Understanding of substation electrical apparatus and substations.Capable of assisting with repairs, testing and oil processing.Safe and sound troubleshooting skills using basic test equipment.
Requirements :
Field Service Technician Qualifications :
- Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen, and physical.
- Complete a satisfactory nationwide criminal background check.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 + lbs., climb ladders, stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work for extended periods which includes overtime, weekends and holidays with minimal notice.
