CDL Driver - Dump Truck (Class A)

About the Role :

Beck Construction & Excavation is looking for an experienced CDL Truck Driver (Class A) to join our team. This position plays a key role in hauling rock, dirt, concrete, equipment, and other materials to and from project sites while ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently.

Our CDL Drivers are not just operators — they are trusted team members who help keep our projects running smoothly. When not driving, you’ll assist on-site crews with general labor, cleanup, or equipment-related tasks.

What You’ll Do :

• Safely operate company trucks to haul materials and equipment between project sites.
• Follow all FMCSA, DOT, and company safety standards.
• Conduct thorough daily pre- and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation.
• Perform light maintenance such as greasing, checking fluids, and replacing lights as needed.
• Ensure materials are properly loaded, secured, and tarped before transport.
• Keep vehicles clean, organized, and free of debris inside and out.
• Communicate with dispatchers, foremen, and project teams to coordinate loads and delivery schedules.
• Report any safety, equipment, or maintenance issues immediately.
• Maintain accurate delivery and inspection logs.
• Support crews with general labor tasks when not driving.
