About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Experience : CVICU experience required. Must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last three years.

License : Must have a valid nursing license or compact license from the state of permanent residence.

Certifications : BLS & ACLS certified through American Heart Association only.

Must-Have : Basic arrhythmia experience is required.

Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Cardiothoracic Surgery and Transplant team.

Provide high-quality care to patients in an acuity adaptable unit.

Deliver care with a blend of technological expertise and a commitment to meeting patient and family needs.

Be an integral part of a team providing specialized care for cardiac and thoracic surgeries, heart and lung transplants, and various medical devices.

Experience and knowledge of NextStage CVVH machine and telemetry competencies are required.

Complete necessary assessments and administer appropriate interventions.

Work collaboratively with the healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Participate in continuous education and professional development activities.

Must be able to float to multiple units as needed.

Weekend coverage and some holiday shifts are required.

Experience in managing complex patients in critical care settings is preferred.

The unit cares for patients with a variety of diagnoses, including those undergoing cardiothoracic surgical procedures and those with acute medical issues.
