Salary : $16.00 per hour DOQ

Job Summary :

Under the supervision of the Site Director, the Scorekeeper is responsible for accurately maintaining game scores, tracking player statistics, and ensuring the proper functioning of scorekeeping equipment during Youth Basketball League games.

This position requires strong attention to detail, professionalism when interacting with coaches, referees, players, and spectators, and efficient management of multiple tasks during games.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of basketball rules and gameplay is essential.
• First Aid / CPR / AED certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with scorekeeping equipment and software is a plus.
• All employees must pass a criminal background check, which the Glencoe Park District will cover.

Hours :

Due to the nature of Park District programming, evening, weekend, and some holiday hours are to be expected

Pay Scale :

This is a seasonal part-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. The intended starting pay for this position is $16.00 per hour, with a full pay scale ranging from $15.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour.

Final compensation will be determined in good faith based on an evaluation of the candidate's qualifications, experience, and the recommendation of the Program Manager - Athletics, or the Assistant Director of Recreation and Facilities.
