This role is responsible for coordinating, planning, organizing, and implementing forensic nursing services while ensuring compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and national standards of care.\n\nThe Forensic Nursing Coordinator plays a key leadership role in developing policies and procedures, overseeing training and education for forensic nurse examiners, and monitoring program performance to ensure the delivery of trauma-informed, patient-centered care. This registered nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including law enforcement, advocacy groups, and healthcare providers—to enhance Beebe Healthcare's response to victims and promote community awareness around forensic and sexual assault care.\n\nResponsibilities\n
- Acts as a professional expert to provide staff with knowledge and resources necessary to achieve desired outcomes.\n
- Demonstrates competency, skill and accuracy.\n
- Maintains knowledge through educational activities and literature research. Promotes open communication.\n
- Team Member Education Process and quality improvement.\n
- Data collection, analysis and dissemination of outcomes.\n
- Creates Action Plan (s) in response to data collection and analysis. Policies / procedures and record keeping accreditation / regulatory compliance. Prepares and monitors the expense budgets to ensure within budget guidelines.\n\nQualifications\n
- Minimum of 5 years of Emergency Department or Critical Care Experience.\n\nEssential : \n\nCompetencies Skills\n
