Overview
Our client is seeking a bilingual English / Spanish HR leader to oversee HR operations for multiple facilities, supporting workforces of 150+ employees per site. This is the lead HR position for assigned locations, partnering with site leadership to drive compliance, employee engagement, and talent development while ensuring HR operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR contact for assigned facilities, advising site managers and employees on all HR matters.
- Manage day-to-day HR functions including employee relations, compliance, recruiting, onboarding / offboarding, benefits, performance management, and LOA administration.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws for IL, West Coast and TX.
- Oversee and resolve complex employee relations cases, including investigations.
- Partner with site leadership on workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.
- Maintain HRIS records, run reports, and support payroll / benefits administration.
- Lead new hire orientations, training programs, and employee development initiatives.
- Conduct I-9 audits and maintain HR documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture and support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Must-Have Qualifications
7+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.Experience in food & beverage manufacturing preferred; manufacturing experience required if not food / beverage.Proven ability to manage HR for 100+ employees per site.Bilingual English / Spanish required.Proficient in HRIS systems and payroll processes.Strong knowledge of employment laws in IL, West Coast, and TX.Skills & Competencies
