We’re looking for a passionate individual to fill our Injection Molding / Cap Press Technician role and to join location in Chippewa Falls, WI where we work together to continuously improve the bottled water industry.

What you’ll be working on
The Husky Operator is accountable for operation of the Husky Cap Press. The majority of the time is operating a forklift in a safe and efficient manner. Forklift experience is required and employee must be able to pass our forklift training class within 3 days after the start date. The Husky machine runs 24 / 7 and is staffed on a 2-2-3 schedule 5am-5 : 10pm.
Stages preforms and supplies for each PET line in designated areaUnloads raw materials and stage in proper areaMonitors and inspects 1 husky injection molding machine, document any issues or concerns on end of day shift reportPerforms daily & weekly required Presage quality checks & Fiix Work Orders throughout shiftCommunicates with supervisor or lead regarding any problems, product issues, etc.Follows standard operating procedures for all operationsMaintains clean, orderly and safe work area at all timesLoads / unloads resin and preforms from trailersPreforms minor maintenance and preventive maintenance as requiredAssists other departments as neededMonitors resin and regrind room operationMonitors cap supply at all production lines & refill as neededMonitors workload of the production drivers and provide assistance as neededRotates breaks of other production driver and / or operator positionsVacation & call in relief for other forklift driver and / or operator positionsIn Fall, Spring, and Winter months assists with snow removal via snow blower and salt spreader in the employee parking lotProvides any assistance to PET lines as instructed by Shift lead or Supervisor which includes breaks, major clean ups, raw materials, and in some situations filling in certain positions for the entire shift.Why work with us?

High School diploma or equivalent2+ years of forklift experience and must be able to operate pallet jacks, double pallet jacks, scanner and radio frequency equipmentAbility to work a flexible schedule as needed and 12 hours shiftsBasic reading, writing, and math skillsFunctional knowledge basic computer skills and any inventory management software programsSome manufacturing experience with a beverage, food, or liquid consumer products manufacturer preferred but not requiredPrior knowledge of GMP's, sanitation standards and FDA requirements is helpful
