Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A professional opportunity is available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists looking to make a meaningful impact in a K-12 school setting during the extended school year (ESY) program. This contract position is located in Roxbury, MA, and is designed for professionals with a focus on providing supportive services to students.

Qualifications :

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with progress reporting and compensatory services in schools.

Details :

  • Location : Roxbury, MA
  • Schedule : 6 hour day for the 5 weeks of ESY program (7 / 7 / 25-8 / 8 / 25)

    • Responsibilities :

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Attend professional development sessions as required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided.
  • Support a non-progress reporting / compensatory service caseload.
