Job Title : Senior Engineer
Location : Oshkosh, WI
Contract Duration : 5 Month Contract (Ending 3 / 31 / 2026, with possible extension based on business conditions)
Pay Range : $45 - $50 / hr, W2
Citizenship Requirement : US Citizen required
Work Arrangement : Hybrid opportunity, onsite minimum three days per week at Oshkosh, WI - North Plant
Travel : Within the US, 1 week every 2-3 months (per diem per GSA during travel times only)
Interview Process : Initial phone screen, followed by onsite interview

Job Responsibilities :
Design functional, reliable, and cost-effective heavy-duty vehicle components.Perform engineering analysis and design or redesign, and development of components into existing and new vehicles.Provide integration and execution support for vehicle and component design.Conduct engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks under supervision.Support senior engineers in preparing plans, designs, computation methods, and reports.Manage projects or parts of projects with limited complexity.Collaborate with internal engineering and business support disciplines and external suppliers.Guide or mentor entry-level engineers, designers, or technicians on a common project.Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal and external customers, and outside resources concerning technical issues.Enforce the proper use of engineering criteria and drawing standards.Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability.Perform and direct preparation of layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material.Support production with technical assistance.Analyze and resolve engineering issues reported through verbal or written communication.Prepare technical proposals, quotations, reports, and presentations.Create and maintain project documentation for analysis, research, and historical records.Utilize analytical and mathematical approaches to calculate or model system performance and optimize designs.Regular attendance is required.Minimum Qualifications :
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with three or more years of related experience.Standout Qualifications :
Automotive closures design experience.Accredited Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.Mechanical knowledge of automotive or heavy-vehicle equipment and related systems.Experience with a high-level CAD system.Experience working with suppliers.Core Competencies :
