Patient Access Representatives deliver what matters most to our patients and their families, ensure exceptional experiences and thrive on making positive impacts in the community. As a Patient Access Representative, you will pre-register and greet patients, verify information and collect copays for diagnostic services and pre-register patients for outpatient services. Your role is essential to ensuring a seamless model of access for patients, physicians and family members.

A caregiver in this position works nights from 11 : 00PM 7 : 00AM, with rotating weekend requirements. Shifts will be 8 or 12 hours, as needed. Stow Health and Wellness Center will be the primary work location, but floating to the Tallmadge Medical Office Building will be required, as needed.

A caregiver who excels in this role will :

• Perform registration and obtain information about demographics, insurance, medical and financial.
• Crosstrain to staff all areas of patient access, such as front desk, admitting office, ED and cash register.
• Function as a Super User and act as a resource for training of new caregivers.
• Provide registration and cash collection access in Epic.
