Responsibilities of Manufacturing Process Engineer :

• Write operating programs by applying knowledge of programming language and machine functions, such as machining centers, robots, and automated processes.
• Identify opportunities or implement changes to resolve production problems, maximize process reliability, improve products, efficiency, and reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment including work standards, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials, and parts.
• Create designs of production jigs and fixtures.
• Design and review layouts, drawings, and schedules of processes of parts to be manufactured ensuring manufacturability and ergonomic concerns.
• Create work instructions and work standards for new or changed processes or standards.
