Job Description :

Microchip Frequency and Time Systems (FTS) is a world leader in precision time and frequency equipment. Its clocks comprise the majority of those used to set the world's standard for time. The company generates, distributes, and applies precise time for the communications, aerospace / defense, IT infrastructure, science, and metrology industries. Microchip FTS's customers range from telecom service providers and network equipment manufacturers to governments agencies, and their suppliers worldwide are able to build more reliable networks and other systems by using the company's advanced timing technologies, atomic clocks, services and solutions.

Microchip FTS is considering candidates for a Designer II - PCB Layout position to assist in the design, procurement, and documentation of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) for prototype and pre-production commercial, military, and space products in our Clocks Engineering Group in Beverly, MA with a focus on quartz and atomic frequency oscillators / references and associated technologies.

• Collaborate with the engineering staff and work closely with the senior designers to develop printed circuit boards, using CAD (Computer Aided Design) and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tools to develop high precision products for commercial, military and space applications.

Mentor Graphics PADS / Expedition, Altium Designer, SolidWorks / CircuitWorks.
