Overview

A respected healthcare education institution is seeking a Dean to lead its Workforce Development nursing program in Visalia, CA. The Dean will oversee all instructional, operational, and administrative functions of the site. This position is ideal for a dynamic nursing leader who is passionate about education, clinical excellence, and workforce readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Lead faculty and staff across academic, clinical, and administrative areas

Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum and instructional programs

Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and support accreditation processes

Maintain student records and oversee data collection and reporting

Collaborate with Human Resources on hiring and documentation

Support student admissions, orientation, and success initiatives

Provide oversight of clinical site assessments and maintain partner relationships

Substitute for clinical, lab, or simulation courses when necessary

Support NCLEX preparation and student licensing readiness

Participate in faculty meetings and curriculum development

Lead or participate in internal committees aligned with program mission

Monitor instructional quality and promote faculty development

Qualifications

Required

Valid Registered Nursing license (California or willing to obtain; relocation support provided)

Master's degree in nursing

Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a college-level nursing program

Minimum 1 year of direct RN patient care experience

Demonstrated leadership and communication skills

Proficient in MS Teams, Zoom, and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
