Base pay range

$12.00 / hr - $25.00 / hr

After Chicago, led by three-Michelin-starred Chef Curtis Duffy, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Front of House team as Servers and Maître d'.

Applicants should have at least 5 years of fine dining or high-end restaurant / cocktail bar experience with a passion for hospitality. This hybrid role requires the ability to provide refined tableside service as a server while also leading the dining room with poise and professionalism as a host / maitre'd. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Dining Room Leadership
• Greet and seat guests with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency.
• Manage reservations, pacing, and guest flow to ensure seamless service.
• Act as a liaison between the service team and the kitchen to maintain timing and quality of experience.
• Maintain a visible floor presence to anticipate guest needs and support the service team.
• Service Excellence
• Provide gracious, attentive, and knowledgeable service at the table.
• Guide guests through food and beverage menus with confidence and accuracy.
• Offer thoughtful recommendations for wine and beverage pairings.
• Maintain mastery-level knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and preparation techniques.
• Anticipate and accommodate guest needs throughout service.
• Establish and maintain positive guest relationships.
• Operational Duties
• Accurately enter orders and follow all cash-handling and POS procedures.
• Execute opening, side-work, and closing duties as outlined.
• Maintain pristine table, station, and service area organization.
• Uphold all service standards and protocols set forth by management.
• Perform additional tasks at the direction of management.

Compensation : Server - Hourly ($12.62) plus tips | Host - Hourly ($25)
