Job Summary :

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver / CNA to join our team at Brickmont of Woodstock in Woodstock, Georgia. As a Caregiver / CNA, you will provide personalized care and assistance to our residents in a warm and homelike environment. This is a full-time, hourly position in the healthcare / medical field, and you will work independently as an individual contributor. The compensation for this role is $16.50 to $17.50 per hour, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities :

Provide direct care and assistance to residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals

Help residents with medication management and ensure all medications are taken according to prescribed instructions

Observe and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the nurse and / or supervisor

Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed

Foster a safe and comfortable environment for residents by maintaining a clean and organized living space

Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members

Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

Participate in care planning meetings and document all care provided accurately and promptly

Requirements :

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a caregiver or CNA in a healthcare setting

Knowledge of basic care techniques and infection control practices

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Empathetic and patient demeanor

Must pass a background check and drug screening
