Senior Director Of Product Management - Replenishment & Inventory Placement
Sam's Club is seeking a visionary and outcome-driven Sr. Director of Product to lead our Replenishment & Inventory Placement product portfolio. This leader will shape the future of how items flow through our networkensuring the right products are available in the right clubs at the right timeby building solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing merchant and supply chain tools. Rather than focusing solely on point solutions for operations, this leader will drive holistic product outcomes that optimize inventory, improve member satisfaction, and enable smarter, more automated decisions across the enterprise.
What you'll do...
Product Strategy & Vision - In this role, you will help set the vision for replenishment and inventory placement in a way that connects directly to enterprise priorities and the day-to-day work of our merchants. Rather than building standalone tools, you'll look for opportunities to embed replenishment and placement capabilities into the merchant ecosystemensuring these solutions become part of how business decisions are naturally made.
Drive Product Outcomes - Your success will be measured not just by delivery, but by outcomes. You will champion solutions that increase availability, reduce waste, and enhance member satisfaction while also improving associate productivity. Every decision will be grounded in data, experimentation, and a clear line of sight to business impact, ensuring your products are drivers of value creation across the enterprise.
Lead Roadmap and Execution - You will own the roadmap for replenishment and inventory placement, balancing the immediate needs of operations with strategic investments in predictive analytics, AI, and automation. Through disciplined prioritization and agile execution, you will bring MVPs to life, scale them for enterprise adoption, and continuously refine based on measurable results and user feedback.
Build Alignment & Influence - Your role will require building alignment across merchants, supply chain, replenishment operations, and technology leaders. By combining data-backed insights with a clear understanding of user needs, you will influence decisions at the highest levels and ensure your team's work is fully integrated into the broader product ecosystem.
Team Leadership & Culture - As a senior leader, you will build and mentor a team of high-performing product managers and leaders. You will foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer-first thinking, empowering your team to experiment boldly while staying laser-focused on outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience in product management leadership, preferably in replenishment or supply chain domains.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex product portfolios.
Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, MVP creation, and product development lifecycles.
Passion for technology innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
10+ years of product management experience with significant leadership in supply chain, replenishment, or large-scale retail.
Proven success integrating complex operational solutions into merchant or customer-facing tools.
Strong analytical skills with fluency in data science, forecasting, and AI-driven decisioning.
Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, Lean experimentation, and whole-product lifecycle management.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Passion for innovation and ability to balance strategic foresight with executional excellence.

Minimum Qualifications...
Option 1 : Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 13 years' experience in product management. Option 2 : 15 years' experience in product management or related area.
Preferred Qualifications...
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 12 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B / C products, Supervisory experience, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
