About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Florida State or Compact License required at time of submission

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS required

Must-Have :

• Level II Trauma Center experience required
• Proficient or Expert in Neurological and Cardiovascular care
• Ability to titrate drips

Description :

Position available for a PACU Registered Nurse.

Variable start times include 9 : 00 AM to 12 : 30 PM.

On-call hours Monday through Friday are from 11 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM, with 2-4 calls within a 6-week period.

Weekend on-call may be required approximately once a month.

The Registered Nurse must be within 30 minutes of the facility to take call.

Float to phase II PACU outpatient discharge when needed is expected.

Traveling clinicians will be required to float to multiple facilities as needed.

Weekend shifts will be every other weekend or a total of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period, as determined by unit needs.

Documentation system utilized is SCM.

Four to six night calls in 6 weeks are required.

Special procedures include recovery from laparoscopic surgeries, hysterectomies, mastectomies, and more.

Experience with patients recovering from cardiac, respiratory, and metabolic disorders is essential.

The unit provides interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy and respiratory services.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in PACU skills assessment.

Medical and religious exemptions for flu and COVID-19 vaccines may be accepted.

Two references from supervisory roles within the last year are required.

This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.

The Registered Nurse will be expected to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care for patients.
