IT Support Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

North Way Christian Community is seeking a part-time (20hrs / wk) IT Support Specialist for our multi-site church. This position will be a key member of North Way's IT team responsible for providing top-tier support across all 8 locations. This individual will triage incoming support tickets, troubleshoot issues with a variety of hardware and software platforms, and play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of IT services, ensuring high levels of customer service and technical support to end users.

This role will require flexible working hours including occasional overnights and weekends, evenings, and holidays based on organizational needs and events. Travel to different church locations will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Fundamental qualifications for all applicants include a growing relationship with God, a desire to impact the world with the love and message of Jesus Christ, a discerned calling into this position, and the willingness to regularly attend and participate in North Way worship services and ministry activities.

Required qualifications for this position include :

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Comfortable presenting or training in group settings

Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud-based systems

Familiarity with both Mac and PC environments

Valid driver's license and ability to travel between campuses

Ability to work with diverse users and maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications include :

Minimum of 2 years' experience in IT support / help desk

Bachelor's degree or relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL)

Experience with ticketing systems and cybersecurity tools

Exposure to church / nonprofit environments or multi-site operations

Programming or scripting experience

Cybersecurity training or coursework
