Floyd's Barbershop is seeking a full-time Assistant Shop Lead to join our team in Lutherville, MD. This full-time position offers a great opportunity to step into a leadership role while continuing to work behind the chair. You will play a key role in supporting the shop leader, assisting barbers and stylists in growing their skills in cuts, colors, and shaves, and ensuring smooth shop operations.

BARBER SHOP ASSISTANT : PAY & PERKS

We offer our Assistant Shop Lead a competitive hourly rate of $17.50 - $33 / hour , which includes various components such as hourly rate, service incentive, 40% retail commission, and potential bonuses . Our benefits package includes :

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility, including evenings and weekends , as these are peak hours when clients need our services the most. As an Assistant Shop Lead, you will partner with the Shop Leader to maintain high standards and provide support to the team. Your daily responsibilities will include mentoring barbers and stylists, assisting with recruiting efforts, and managing essential shop operations such as inventory, purchase orders, and month-end reporting. You will also remain active behind the chair, ensuring clients receive the high-quality service that Floyd's Barbershop is known for.
