We are seeking a  Part Time  Cashier / Barista to play a key role in our front of house. This position will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages to order, greeting and helping guests with their bread and pastry requests, and working collaboratively with our bustling team to keep the shop running smoothly.

This is a part-time position with an average of 25 hours a week  Weekend availability is essential (please do not apply if you don't have those days available to work).

We're looking for someone with :

• Experience working in as a coffee barista, making espresso drinks (1 year minimum)
• Availability Wednesday-Sunday
• must be available on weekend mornings
• A warm, friendly, and engaging professional attitude
• Demonstrate clear communication, active listening, and organizational skills
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Motivated and able to work well both alone and alongside others
• Great communication skills
• Ability to focus and stay on task
• Strong work ethic, timeliness, and sense of urgency
• Attention to detail and cleanliness
• Commitment to a positive environment and work within a team
• Passion for food, cooking, nutrition, community, social justice
• Practice and demonstrate knowledge of food safety
• Current food handler certification required!
• Willingness to follow policies and procedures

The strongest applicants will also have :

Schedule : MUST be available to work Wednesday through Sunday, with Mondays and Tuesdays days off every week.

Compensation : $17.00 / hr plus pooled tips which average an additional $5-8 more per hour = $22-24 / hr
