Job Title : EMCS / Controls Technician

Job Summary : EMCOR Government Services has an opportunity for EMCS / Controls Technician in Washington, DC who has a Top Secret or Q clearance. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

Major Duties and Responsibilities :

• Installs, services and repairs environment-control systems in commercial buildings, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, pipefitting and structural layout
• Operate the Energy Management Control System and Power Control Console which includes Direct Digital Control (DDC), Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Uninterrupted Power System (UPS), Power Distribution Unit (PDU) Motor Control Center (MCC), Chiller, Air Handler, VAV and boilers
• Seek out and correct potential problems before they occur.
