Vice President Of Market Planning And Banker Enablement

The Business Banking Product organization is at the forefront of delivering innovative products and features tailored to small and mid-sized business customers. As Vice President of Market Planning and Banker Enablement, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between product innovation, customer engagement, and banker activation. This strategic leadership position is responsible for crafting and executing go-to-market and change management strategies that drive growth, adoption, and competitive differentiation.

This is a high-impact role with visibility across product, marketing, sales, and enablement teams. You'll be empowered to shape how products come to life in the market and how bankers are equipped to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, and deep banking acumen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Launch Planning Develop and lead bespoke product launch strategies, including segmentation, value proposition, channel strategy, and launch roadmaps. Oversee cross-functional implementation encompassing sales training, communications, operational readiness, market engagement, and feedback loops.
  • Banker Enablement & Rollout Execution Ensure seamless rollout of initiatives to sales channels by assessing support needs, collaborating with internal partners, coordinating with stakeholders, and capturing banker feedback to continuously optimize enablement efforts.
  • Long-Term Enablement Strategy Identify and address long-term needs for banker success in product sales. Build and execute a strategic enablement roadmap that delivers measurable impact on sales effectiveness and customer outcomes.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related fieldor equivalent work experience
  • Master's degree (MBA or equivalent), or equivalent work experience
  • Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Proven ability to synthesize complex information and apply structured, hypothesis-driven problem solving
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities
  • High emotional intelligence with tact, diplomacy, and relationship management expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and executional rigor
  • Deep experience in engaging sales channels through effective communications, training, and asset delivery
  • Track record of developing innovative go-to-market plans across the full product lifecycle
  • Strong external perspective and competitive benchmarking acumen
  • Seasoned people leader with 4+ years of management experience
  • 8+ years of experience in banking or financial services
  • BA / MBA in finance, business administration, or a related discipline
