Associate Attorney at Plaintiff Personal Injury Firm

Responsibilities

  • Responding to motions, legal research, taking depositions, handling arbitrations, and potentially handling civil trials from start to finish.
  • Depending on prior experience, assist paralegals with responding to discovery requests while learning the attorney roles.

Qualifications

  • Judicial clerkship in New Jersey Courts is a plus. Prior experience in civil litigation is a plus, especially in negligence / personal injury or workers\' compensation matters.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
  • Desired skills include critical thinking, interpersonal skills, strong organizational habits. Treating clients and staff respectfully is absolutely required.

    • Compensation

    Salary is negotiable and the base range listed here is not inclusive of any origination, year end bonus, performance bonuses, and 401(k) matching. (Current attorney\'s base pay can be half of their earnings, or the majority of their earnings, depending on performance).
