The Fire Sprinkler Technician will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in various commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fire protection systems, relevant codes, and regulations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and ensuring the safety of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems according to design specifications and manufacturer instructions.
- Conduct inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems in compliance with local, state, and federal codes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with existing sprinkler systems, making necessary repairs to ensure proper operation. mostly wet and dry systems
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspection reports and service documentation.
- Stay current with industry standards, codes, and changes in regulations related to fire protection.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally and effectively.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on job sites.
Requirements
Minimum of two years of experience in fire sprinkler installation and service.NICET II certification in Fire Protection (preferred but not required).Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and fire protection codes, including NFPA 13 and 25.Experience with both wet and dry sprinkler systems.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving recordCertified to operate equipment such as scissor lifts and boom lifts is a plus.
