Responsibilities Work in a Neuro ICU setting at a hospital Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 19 : 00 to 07 : 30 Typical patient ratio is 1 : 2 Care for neuro ICU patients requiring strong neuro and stroke experience Every other weekend and 50% of holidays on contract required Floating required to ICU, Med Surg, and potentially as Patient Observer throughout the hospital Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required Provide comprehensive neuro critical care, including management of stroke patients Must be willing to float to various hospital units as needed, including Patient Observer (sitter) roles Complete required hospital modules during orientation and annually Return travelers within 18 months are not required to attend re-orientation Local candidates accepted within 75 miles at a reduced rate Requirements Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent Neuro ICU experience required ICU and stroke experience required Minimum 2 years of total RN experience preferred CPI certification preferred; may be completed onsite Must provide two professional references from a charge nurse or higher Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-618492.
