Asset Manager

Founded in Bellevue, Washington in 1986, American Capital Group stands proud as a family-owned leader in real estate development. With over three decades of dedicated service, our expertise shines in the realm of multifamily community development. To date, we have crafted over 80 multifamily properties across twelve states, managing 20+ of these properties in four Western states.

Our success stems from our comprehensive approach. We handle every aspect of real estate development in-house, encompassing Engineering and Design, Acquisitions, Development, Construction Management, Property Management, and Asset Management. This integrated strategy has solidified our position as an industry trailblazer.

Position Overview

  • Schedule : Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm - Flexibility to work additional hours may be required to meet company / project needs.
  • On-Site Requirement : This position requires physical presence at our corporate office during office hours.
  • Compensation Package

$130,000 to $160,000 / Year

  • Bonus Incentives include : annual bonus
  • The above compensation is a range. Offers are made based upon a candidate's experience and the geographical location of this position.

  • What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field; MBA or Master's in Real Estate is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of asset management or acquisitions experience, preferably with a focus on multifamily assets.
  • Demonstrated success managing value-add and / or core-plus strategies across multiple West Coast markets.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and modeling (Excel proficiency required; Argus is a plus).
  • Experience working with third-party property management and renovation teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel periodically to asset locations across the West Coast.
  • Your Role

  • Manage a $2B portfolio of multifamily assets, ensuring alignment with investment models, business plans, and fund goals.
  • Track KPIs, address performance gaps, and implement operational improvements.
  • Partner with property teams on pricing, leasing, expense control, and income growth.
  • Oversee value-add renovations and capital projects, ensuring budget, scope, and timelines.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and hold / sell analyses to inform strategic planning.
  • Analyze market trends across the West Coast to guide asset-level strategies.
  • Prepare investor reports and materials, support fund reporting and investor relations.
  • Support refinancing, dispositions, and due diligence with brokers and committees.

    Candidate Screening & Interview Process
