Collaborate with internal and third-party engineers to review and refine layouts, energy yields, and interconnection solutions. Atlantica Development is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Developer to lead the full lifecycle of utility-scale renewable energy projects—including solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS)—from initial concept through "Ready-to-Build" (RTB) status.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Coordination
- Serve as the principal point of contact and owner for assigned renewable energy projects, managing them through the full development lifecycle.
- Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project development schedules, budgets, and internal reporting tools.
- Land acquisition
- Permitting and environmental compliance
- Engineering and design
- Interconnection and grid coordination
- Finance and offtake
- Policy and regulations
- Prepare and issue scopes of work to consultants; manage contracts, invoices, and deliverables.
- Identify project risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure timely communication and alignment with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits and attend meetings as necessary (travel required).
