Senior Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions. This role is critical in ensuring accuracy and integrity in our financial processes and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior staff.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform GL journal entries and participate in financial statement production in compliance with GAAP or other applicable standards.
- Support the daily operations of the accounting department including :
- Accounts payable / receivable
- General ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- Coordinate and complete monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
- Support budget and forecasting activities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and compliance.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field46 years of accounting experienceStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Excel.High attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Qualifications :
BS in AccountingExperience in public accounting or a mid-sized organization.Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.Work Environment :
In-office based role 5x / week in Manchester, NHCollaborative team environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.Compensation : $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
