Practice : With the completion of a new tower this year Matthews will have 8 ORs and 3 Endo suites, cases include everything but heads and hearts; NORA cases including MRI and cardio-pulmonary

Responsibilities
Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care to pediatrics through geriatric populationsAdminister anesthetics for a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical proceduresMonitor patients throughout anesthesia and recoveryCollaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical teamsAdjust anesthetic plans as needed based on changing patient statusPractice independently within full CRNA scope of privilegesFloat between sites based on staffing needs and patient volumeQualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and Nurse AnesthesiaCurrent CRNA certification (NBCRNA)RN and CRNA licensure in North Carolina (or compact state)BLS, ACLS, and PALS (per policy)Strong decision-making and clinical judgmentAbility to adapt across different specialties and patient populationsNew grads welcome - orientation and preceptorship providedMust have extensive knowledge of current anesthetic agents, techniques, drugs and equipmentHas knowledge and skills necessary to modify the anesthetic plan of care suitable to patient ageMust have considerable ability to make independent decisions, sometimes under stress, and to maintain a professional demeanor with patients, coworkers and physiciansJob Opening ID
