Job Description
The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) provides comprehensive primary care, including diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and health education, in coordination with healthcare providers at a community-focused health center.
- Performs patient interviews, diagnoses, prescribes treatments, and maintains medical records in accordance with standards.
- Coordinates referrals, collaborates with physicians, and develops protocols to ensure quality care.
- Identifies high-risk patients, manages complex cases, and promotes community relations with cultural sensitivity.
- Ensures compliance, participates in quality improvement, and performs routine procedures such as immunizations and wound care.
- Requires valid FNP licensure, relevant experience, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of Indian health regulations and cultural competence are preferred.
