Job Summary
The Digital Content Strategist supports the College's enrollment, brand, accessibility, and marketing goals by leading digital content strategy, SEO / SEM, campaign tracking, performance analytics, and accessibility compliance. This role ensures the College's web presence aligns with marketing campaigns, brand standards, and recruitment objectives while collaborating with IT Services and campus partners on technical needs and compliance.
Focused on content, campaign integration, keyword optimization, and data-driven insights, the strategist enhances site visibility, accessibility, user experience, and conversions-serving as the bridge between marketing initiatives and the College's digital platforms to maximize engagement and enrollment outcomes.

Baccalaureate degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field from an accredited institution; minimum of three (3) years in digital content strategy, SEO / SEM, analytics, digital accessibility, or related marketing roles; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
No supervisory experience required. May collaborate with interns or student assistants.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions,
proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to calculate and interpret campaign ROI, conversion rates, click-through rates, and other marketing metrics.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram / chart, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheets, Internet, e-mail system, and PowerPoint software. Must become efficient with current college database software and other college required software within one month of hire.
Strong knowledge of WordPress / CMS publishing, SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs), Google Analytics, and accessibility tools. Proficiency in marketing platforms and content governance workflows. Demonstrated knowledge of WCAG 2.1 / 2.2 ADA Section 508 and digital accessibility best practices.
No licensure required; certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or SEO platforms preferred. Accessibility-related certification (CPACC,WAS) desirable.
Responsibility for People and Property :

This position has routine contact with all levels of SCF administration and faculty staff.
